A high school football team is on the receiving end of criticism following a Friday night game.

Inglewood High and Inglewood Morningside faced off this past week and a question of sportsmanship is being raised as Inglewood beat Morningside 106-0.

Following the game’s first quarter, Inglewood had already been leading 59-0, while a running clock was issued late in the second quarter.

Several members of Inglewood’s team have already committed to college football programs, including quarterback Justyn Martin who will be joining the UCLA Bruins, who threw 13 touchdown passes on Friday.

And what’s even more strange is that the team attempted to go for a two-point conversion while already up 104-0.

Yikes…

And Morningside coach Brian Collins weighed in following the game, suggesting the team should play against prep schools who have strong football programs.

The Inglewood Unified School District that overlooks both schools released the following statement and confirmed that they were going to launch an investigation as they are “saddened beyond words” following Friday’s game.
