Filed under holidays that we weren’t aware of: March 31st marks Dino Day, supposedly. The Texas Rangers decided to celebrate in appropriate fashion, although perhaps things didn’t quite work out for the dino.
A velociraptor threw out the first pitch before the game! Unfortunately, those tiny arms aren’t so great for throwing, and as it turns out, flinging the ball from your jaw isn’t a great strategy either.
This must’ve been a pretty strange sight to witness live. The dino couldn’t quite get the ball to the plate, but at least it was funny!
Dinos at sports games: We want more of them.
