It was no secret that Pierre-Luc Dubois wanted out of Columbus. Ever since he requested a trade, things became rocky between him and Torts. He played for a total of under 4 minutes in an entire game, he was benched, and then speculation began to heat up about possible trade interest.
There were rumblings on Friday night that gave the hockey world the hint that the trade could be closer than expected and then BOOM, Saturday morning it happened. The Winnipeg Jets made a deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets involving Patrik Laine, Pierre-Luc Dubios and Jack Roslovic.
Fans are SHOCKED.
