We don’t want to ever hear any excuses on why you’re too tired to play a full round of golf again.
Down at the U.S. Women’s Senior Open, 79-year-old JoAnne Carner did some extremely significant. No, she didn’t drain a hole-in-one, or pull off any crazy trick shots. What she did do is match her age on her score card.
Carner, who’s won 41 LPGA events over her career, shot a 79 in the first round of the first ever U.S. Women’s Senior Open at the Chicago Golf Club back on Thursday.
Watching “Big Mama" golf will surely make you jealous of her swing.
She even lights up darts out on the links, too.
What a legend. Carner claims she hasn’t walked a course since 2004. She’s in the World Golf Hall of Fame, too. Not too shabby at all. Unfortunatly for Carner, she missed the cut after shooting an 83 in the second round, and finished 16 strokes over par.
Regardless, JoAnne, we adore you.
