Philadelphia is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in North America. The city absolutely adores all four of their major professional teams, the 76ers, the Flyers, the Phillies, and the Eagles. Predictably, the city of brotherly love is rallying around the Eagles as they get ready to make their first Super Bowl appearance since 2005. This includes support coming from the other Philly franchises.

And so on, and so on…

On Friday, however, the 76ers took their support an extra step further and incorporated Eagles’ highlights into their pre-game hype video. It was also done extremely tastefully.

The video began with purely 76ers’ highlights and player shots when suddenly Nick Foles appeared on the screen. It almost seemed like a mistake as it went straight back to 76ers highlights. When the pyrotechnics shot off and the Eagles appeared back on screen, it was clear the video was a hybrid. And the song playing during the intro? Dreams and Nightmares by Philly native Meek Mills.

This obviously put the Philly crowd in a good mood, and the faithful kept the Eagles theme up for the entire game.

Philadelphia is geared up and ready to go for Super Bowl LII, are you?
