We know. Life sucks right now. Everyone's stuck at home and to make matter worse, no hockey is on.

NOT HOCKEY! ANYTHING BUT HOCKEY!!!!

We know you're all missing your skates your skates carving into the ice and watching your players do the same thing so to at least ease the pain, we have five hockey games that will help you pass the time while you're stuck at home. Games can really mean anything so without further ado, let's get this show on the road.

MINI-STICKS

This one's a gimme. If you can't play on real ice, just hit the carpet and go toe-to-toe with a family member. For the sake of social distancing, keep the nets at least eight feet apart and stay in your crease! Make one with tape if you have to, but this one is a no-brainer.

CHEL

Real hockey might not be an option to play right now but virtual hockey definitely. Grab a controller and either take a sibling on one-on-one or battle one of your buds online. NHL teams have even been streaming their scheduled games so if you don't feel like playing, just kick your feet up and watch your squad in action!

HOCKEY MONOPOLY

Clean your hands and wearing gloves would even be a good idea. Keep this within the household with family members and still try to social distance if you can! But a good ole' game of Hockey Monopoly is the perfect way to pass time. 1) Because it's a ton of fun and 2) It literally takes so long to get through a game. So start rolling people and hope you're the first to land on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

HOCKEY NAME GAME

If you're feeling tired, lazy, and don't feel like moving or stimulating your brain too much, then keep things simple and give the name game a shot. Player 1 says a name (Alex Ovechkin for example), and player two then has to think of another player who's last name starts with an N (Matt Niskanen). See how many you can do in a row... everyone has different rules but if this is your first time hearing about it then try using last names.

HORSE

If you happen to have a net in your basement then why not play a little HORSE to kill the time? Or whatever you want to call it? Keep your distance and get creative. If you want to play with friends then just hope on FaceTime (or Zoom these days) and go toe-to-toe! If you don't have room then just grab your mini-net and play from there, it's as easy as that!

It's tough times right now but there are definitely ways to fill your hockey void. There's plenty of more so try to get creative over the next while!
