We've shown you how different players tape their stick. But what about their knob?

Listen, the knob contributes just as much to the way a player can rip a puck as the TJ does. It's all about finding that comfortable grip! So if you're new to hockey or haven't quite found that perfect handle on the end of your stick, here are some suggestions for you:

THE TWIST

The Twist is unquestionably the go-to knob for maximum grip. Simply stick your tape on the end of your knob, and spin that roll like a tetherball around a pole! Then wrap it around, and apply tape over it. Perhaps this will give you a better idea of how to do it:

NORMAL

You probably noticed the second tape job in that video was nothing special. Well, that's because it wasn't! At all! Some players choose to just wrap a little tape on the end of their twig and hit the rink but come one... you can get a little more creative than that!

THE TWINKIE

This one is a little rare, but we've seen it before. You can find the occasional player who literally just wraps a bunch of tape around their knob to the point that it looks like a Twinkie, Very comfortable grip, but definitely not for every player. Especially the ones with smaller hands.

THE OLIVER EKMAN-LARSSON SPECIAL

If you're scared of your hand slipping off of the end of your stick, then this one is definitely for you. All you need to do is grab that roll of tape and basically wrap the entire thing around the end. We're still trying to figure out how he shoots the puck!

THE BRENT SEABROOK

Just do the same thing... but in reverse. Guess you won't have to worry about your hand sliding too far down your stick?!
