The Toronto Blue Jays have been changed a lot since their founding in 1977.

They’ve seen superstars, slumps, World Series, and more, and thirty years ago today, they experienced a first in franchise history.

Thirty years ago to the day, on September 2nd, 1990, at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, Dave Stieb pitched the first and only no-hitter in Blue Jays history.

Steib is often remembered as one of, if not THE, most underrated pitches of his era, but his place in Blue Jays history as one of their best pitchers ever is set in stone.

After all, how do you forget the only no-hitter in team history?

And who could forget that slider? Or that stache?

Not us, that’s for certain.

Dave, thanks for this unforgettable Canadian baseball memory.
