The Stanley Cup Playoffs have been extremely exciting thus far, especially since a team other than the Penguins, Kings, Blackhawks, or Bruins will win the Cup this season.
Furthermore, every series has been competitive and the Eastern Conference Finals between the Capitals and Lightning will be decided Wednesday night in Game 7.
Everyone will be glued to their televisions to see if Alex Ovechkin and his team can make it to the Cup Final and speaking of televisions, ahead of the big game, NBC Sports revealed the top ten markets for the playoffs up to this point:
It's not surprising that the three of the final four cities are in the top six. What is surprising, though, is that Vegas is second and Buffalo is third.
Some hockey fans still might think that Vegas isn't a hockey city, but this clearly helps prove it is. As for Buffalo, apparently people living there really love hockey and if the Sabres were in the playoffs, they'd probably be number one on the list.
