The best high school ballers of the nation gather for McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest, and this year’s iteration did not disappoint. On Monday, the best high school ballers of the nation were competing for second to Duke commit Zion Williamson.

No questioning the perfect score on that one. As impressive as that dunk was, though, Williamson’s next try would’ve topped it out easily if he’d been able to finish. Frankly, this missed 360 one-hander, also off a bounce but with a ferocious reach-back, probably could’ve won a dunk contest itself:

Oof. Williamson is part of Duke’s widely-heralded recruiting class, which also includes his fellow ESPN top-three recruits in Cam Reddish and Canadian forward R.J. Barrett, and his athleticism at the high school level is jaw-dropping. This absolute man of a teenager was born in the year 2000, which, if you were part of the 1900s-born majority of the population, is probably highly upsetting, and also highly captivating if you were to take a peek at his high school highlight tape:

The rest of the dunk contest was entertaining in and of itself. Kansas commit Quentin Grimes mustered some major elevation with this between-the-legs dunk...

...and UConn commit Olivia Nelson-Ododa garnered a perfect score for himself with this easy flush:

All in all, though: Zion Williamson. That’s the entire story and takeaway here. Do you still want to watch some more Zion Williamson dunks? Well, hey, we got you. Here are his two other dunks from the dunk contest:
