Entering play Sunday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs are one of five teams that has scored over 100 goals this season (103) and they're one of four teams averaging more than 3.40 goals per-game (3.43).

With the crackdown on slashing penalties and other rule changes, scoring has increased in the NHL.  The Leafs have a ton of young talent and skill throughout their lineup and are unquestionably one of the most exciting teams to watch in the league night in and night out.

Sunday night, Toronto faces another exciting offensive-minded team in the Edmonton Oilers and before the game, Wayne Gretzky was asked if he thinks these offence-oriented teams can win in the playoffs.

While Gretzky does think teams like the Leafs can win the Cup, he also cautioned his statement by saying those teams need to be able to win those low-scoring games in the playoffs because they aren't all going to be 4-3 or 5-4 games.

We know the Leafs can score goals, but we'll only know if they can win those close games once the playoffs roll around.
