One of the biggest names in Toronto for the past decade or so is undoubtedly Drake. One of the biggest names in Toronto over the last year or so is undoubtedly Vladimir Guerrero Jr. One of the biggest teams in Toronto is undoubtedly the surging Toronto Raptors.
Saturday night marked a collision of the Toronto worlds.
The rapper and the baseball star both decided to attend what was a highly-anticipated Game 1 between the Raps and the Philadelphia 76ers in round two of the NBA playoffs. With the East looking like it’s more attainable than ever, there were lots of fans on hand to catch the ball game.
After the game, Drake and Vladdy got to meet each other. While it is clear that a language barrier existed between the two, it’s also clear that both are genuinely excited to be meeting one another.
Remember this video, there’s a very high chance that both these two continue to solidify their place in Toronto-lore. In particularly if Vlad continues to blossom into the baseball player he has potential to be.
