The Minnesota Vikings fans have suffered for a very long time, and after being eliminated in the NFC Championship by the Philadelphia Eagles their frustration is really starting to show.
With the Super Bowl being hosted by Minnesota next weekend, Eagles fans are gearing up to support the green and silver as they take on the New England Patriots for football supremacy. Unfortunately for the Eagles, Vikings fans are making life as difficult as possible for the visiting Philly faithful.
According to WAFB, a division of CBS, Eagles fans have been experiencing trouble in getting accommodation as their Airbnb’s keep cancelling on them.
Apparently it’s not just a couple cases, there are lots of people hung out to dry by Vikings fans after violent videos emerged following their victory last Sunday.
Apparently it doesn’t stop there, though. Apparently a suggestion was made on a Minneapolis radio station that a bunch of Vikings fans should sign up for ride-sharing programs (Uber/Lyft), only to pick up Eagles fans and purposely drop them off in the middle of nowhere.
Beyond that, Twitter user that support the Vikings have plotted various ways that they can make Eagles fans’ lives a little more difficult next weekend.
Not to be wronged, lots of Philly fans have stepped up to the plate and argued against what they are calling “discrimination”
It’s even getting a little dangerous as an official Facebook event has kicked off for Vikings to “throw stuff” such as beer cans at Eagles fans upon arrival.
