Vegas isn’t afraid of a little extravagance. It’s a city that promotes glitz and glam at every chance it gets, and the city is associated with money, partying, and overall indulging.
When the city introduced its NHL franchise, it’s no surprise that the Vegas Golden Knights embodied a lot of the theatrics that have become intertwined with the city. It didn’t take long for the Knights to find a seriously unique identity within the league.
There may not be a moment in their history more applicable than right now. The Knights came out for their game against Anaheim sporting shiny gold buckets.
Look at any of the responses and it is clear, the hockey world has no idea how to feel about these.
