The Oklahoma City Thunder paid a visit to the Utah Jazz on Monday night and things got heated between Russell Westbrook and a pair of Jazz fans late in the game.

This isn’t the first time that Westbrook has gotten into it with Jazz fans in Utah, as similar things happened last year during the playoffs, and the Jazz organization took matters into its own hands on Tuesday by permanently banning the fan from future Jazz games and any other events at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Jazz star Donovan Mitchell spoke out on the incident shortly after the release and mentioned that he plans on working with his teammates to make NBA arenas more welcoming and will use his offseason to focus on racial issues through his foundation.

Just because you pay a lot of money for courtside seats doesn’t mean you can do or say whatever you want.
