Team USA was able to get their first win at this year’s World Juniors, taking care of Austria in a dominant 11-0 contest.
This is the bounce-back that the Americans were hoping for after dropping their first contest, and you have to be impressed with Trevor Zegras’ play in particular. With two goals and two assists to his name, Zegras led the way for USA in this one, and it was absolutely electrifying to watch.
Maybe we should’ve known before puck drop, since this guy was literally practicing the Michigan in warm-ups...
Zegras was selected with the ninth overall pick by the Anaheim Ducks in 2019, so we’re sure that Ducks fans are feeling pretty excited right now.
Anyway, check out his highlights for yourself. They don’t disappoint.
