The MLB trade deadline is just days away, and that can lead to a lot of tension for players on the trading block. Trevor Bauer may have just made his final start in an Indians jersey, and, well, it could’ve gone better for him.
After Bauer was rocked for eight runs in his first five innings, Terry Francona decided that he had seen enough and came out to pull him. Bauer didn’t love that, chucking the ball all the way over the wall in center before walking off. (To his credit, though, he does seem to apologize to Francona on his way back to the dugout.)
Just look at that poor runner on second, flinching as Bauer turns and fires! Or, maybe even better, the sudden turn from the center-fielder after he sees the ball fly over his head, thinking he just got caught napping on a homer.
Did anybody get the radar gun on that throw? As we know, Bauer can certainly gas the baseball.
