Naturally, when you win the Super Bowl, you’re entitled to some celebration. Tom Brady knows all about this, after throwing the Lombardi Trophy from one boat to another during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers parade.
How does he remember the moment? Well, he doesn’t really.
Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Brady says that he doesn’t have a strong recollection of throwing the Lombardi Trophy, and that he definitely wasn’t thinking when he made the decision to do it.
Ironically, of all the adults present at the parade, Brady’s 8-year-old daughter was the only one with any sense. As Brady acknowledges, the Lombardi would’ve sunk fast if his teammates hadn’t caught it.
Well, that’s just the avocado tequila factoring into the decision-making. Understandable.
