Connor McDavid rented some skates this weekend in Boston, and although he might be the most skilled player in hockey today, he might not be the most well-known.
McDavid is still pretty new to the league, so people, especially outside of Canada are probably still unfamiliar with him being the next big thing in hockey. However, there is just something funny about someone working at skating rink not being aware of who he is.
Connor McDavid’s brother Cam shared an image themselves and a friend at the rink and pointed out the funniest moment of the experience.
“Highlight of the weekend was when the skate lady corrected Connor about his skate size, explaining that his skate size should be one less than his shoe size.”
While that is a good tip for any general user looking to go for a recreational skate, but we have a feeling Connor has a more precise reading of his skate size. NHL players can customize their skates down to quarter sizes and even with different sizes on different feet if necessary for their feet.
This has to be one of the more positive experiences Cam has had with Connor on the ice.
