If you're a hockey player, it's pretty much a guarantee that you've played hockey on and outdoor rink at some point in your life.
Even if you hate the winter because of the snow and the cold, being able to play hockey on an outdoor rink is one of the best things about the season of winter.
When you're out on an outdoor rink, the cold goes away and the snow makes the experience that much better.
As much as we love playing on an outdoor rink, there is one thing we think every hockey would agree is the worst part about playing on an ODR, and this video perfectly showcases that one thing.
The ice on an outdoor rink can get really bad and this is what could happen. It doesn't matter if you just sharpened your skates or your a great skater, because the ice on an ODR is unpredictable, especially if it's not taken care of.
If that's the worst thing about playing hockey on an outdoor rink, though, then there's really nothing bad about playing on one because we'll deal with that any day to play the sport we love outdoors.
