The fun thing with the release of the NHL’s Reverse Retro jerseys is that not only have we seen some great designs put together for teams to wear next season, but the graphic design community has also come up with some pretty great alternative ideas that often look just as cool as the real thing.

Probably one of the cooler projects that we’ve seen is Alexander Weiss (@awmultimedia on Instagram) taking it upon himself to design a Reverse Retro concept for each team in the OHL.

So far, Weiss has designed jerseys for 15 out of 20 teams in the league, and we have to say, these genuinely look amazing. Some of these throwback logos are absolutely incredible, and our early favourite probably has to be the Guelph Storm uniform.

You know we love us some OHL content, and especially some custom throwback jersey concepts. Weiss has other designs on his profile, including cross-sport mock-ups and the like that are worth checking out too.

Now, who knows whether or not the OHL will end up doing a throwback series of uniforms, but judging from the response on social media, it sounds like the idea would definitely have some traction with fans — and the OHL vault definitely has tons of great looks to work with.
