The Dallas Stars are having a bounce-back season after inexplicably falling well out of a playoff position last year.
One major reason for their success has been the emergence of an absolute stud on the blue line in John Klingberg. The Stars youngster currently leads NHL defensemen in scoring by a wide margin. He has put up 46 points in 48 games, with the next closest, Brent Burns coming in at 38 points in 46 games.
So, when the NHL came out with this tweet about potential Norris candidates, the Stars were a little confused.
Perhaps if there were only three players on there, like the actual nominations, they could have been cut a little slack. However, they put six defenseman on a graphic discussing Norris candidates and didn’t include the leading point-scorer so far this season.
