The sports world arrived for the Kentucky Derby in some seriously outrageous outfits

The sports world congregated at Louisville’s Churchill Downs for the 145th Kentucky Derby on Saturday, and in classic Kentucky Derby fashion, they did so in the most outrageous hats you can imagine.

Nothing could be more sensational than Country House’s derby win at 65-1 odds — the betting favourite, Maximum Security, crossed the finish line first but was shockingly disqualified after a video review.

However, the attendees were certainly going for shock value as well, when it comes to some of these looks.
