Alright so the Korean Baseball Organization may be giving the MLB a run for it’s money and World Series trophy with this unique twist.
As the NC Dinos beat the Doosan Bears within the 2020 Korean Series Championship 4-2, the Dinos celebrated their first ever franchise championship in complete KBO fashion.
With a giant sword, of course.
The NC Dino’s are currently owned by and named after NCSoft Corporation, a video game developer based out of Seongnam-si, South Korea. As tribute to their successful MMO series Lineage, the team’s ownership decided to celebrate with the most powerful item from within the game, the big sword.
Baseball fans from all over shared their support of the big sword, we mean who wouldn’t? It’s a giant sword.
Mookie Betts hoisting a sword would have absolutely been the cherry on top of the 2020 MLB season.
Even the Durham Bulls, the MiLB affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays joined in on the fun.
It’s safe to say it’s in perfect measure that the NC Dino’s would hoist a giant sword following their championship, as the team gained attention at the beginning of their season for their muscled out mascot who is now referred to as Swole Daddy.
If the MLB can learn anything from the KBO this year, it’s to implement more Swole Daddy and more swords.
