Itโs that time of year, again!
Time to dig deep into that box in your attic, feel around for those scratchy threads, and pull out the ugliest Christmas sweater you can find! โTis the season, after all.
For the Toronto Maple Leafs, well, they took things a step further. In support of SickKids Hospital in Toronto, the Leafs partnered up with professional funnyman Ryan Reynolds to wear his now-iconic Christmas sweater for practice.
The sweater began as a prank in which Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman tricked him into wearing the green and red sweater to a non-Christmas sweater event, but it has since become a symbol of hope for the Toronto-based hospital. SickKids now uses sweater sales to help raise funds for saving the lives of children.
It's not the first time Reynolds has teamed up with the Leafs. Last Holiday season, Reynolds released a separate sweater video that featured a hilarious cameo from Auston Matthews.
