We’ve seen some fantastic warm-up threads worn by NHL teams this season, but the Golden Knights might be winners with these Chinese New Year one-offs that they’ll wear on Saturday night.
The jerseys feature each player’s name and the team’s own in Chinese. Strange to see the Golden Knights rocking red as a primary colour, for sure, but it’s not a bad look at all!
It’s only a shame that they won’t get to wear these in-game. The NHL obviously isn’t as lax with its team uniforms as minor hockey leagues often are, but whenever we see a gem like these, we kind of wish the NHL would just let teams open the vault.
Case in point: The Canucks brought back their Flying Skate jerseys for their 50th anniversary this season, which is very cool! On one occasion, they also brought back their Flying V jersey, but strictly for warm-ups. Free these beauties too, we say!
