Hey Dallas Stars fans, need some cheering up?
The Stars had a wildly successful season that saw them transform from a team that many thought was under performing to one that was competitive in the Stanley Cup Finals. Though they ended up falling to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the end, they can still definitely hang their hats on a very impressive season.
In case the fans needed some good news after coming so close to tasting Stanley Cup glory, the Dallas Stars are teasing the return of a beloved jersey.
First, the Stars tweeted this throwback photo of their team wearing these sweet black jerseys in response to the NHL’s question of ‘what item in your hockey collection do you cherish most?’.
Hmmm. Hinting? We think so, because now, the Stars have changed all their social media profile pictures to a black photo with Wednesday’s date on it, and also shared this very telling photo.
Are the black jerseys coming back? Fans seem to hope so!
We’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see exactly what the Stars come up with, and we’ll be on the edge of our seats until then.
