The CFL has received a very positive reception over the last week as they released their Diversity is Strength campaign early.
With all of the violence in Charlottesville, it seemed like appropriate timing for the league, so they started promoting the message of positivity and strength in diversity. Their shirts that state “Diversity is Strength” received international attention throughout the week and now they’ve followed it up with a video that is sure to give you chills.
In case you missed it earlier in the week, the new CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie went on CNN to talk about the CFL.
Players in every league have spoken about the violence and divide that is currently growing in America, but the CFL is one of the first leagues to show support themselves. We’re sure we’ll see more players and teams wearing the jerseys tonight in the CFL’s double header.
