Canada has high hopes for the World Juniors this year with a majority of their roster being first-round picks in the NHL.
The team representing the north also just announced their captains for the tournament with Kirby Dach leading the way.
Also, the boys found out they were being named captain by none other than Connor McDavid, what a cool way to find out you’ll be leading your country!
Dach and the squad will be looking to lead Canada to their 19th World Junior Championship.
