Ahhhh, we were playing on house money anyway.
Many people thought we’d seen the last of Marshawn Lynch in the NFL, which is a bummer because he’s SOOOO entertaining to watch both on and off the field. After a slew of injuries to Seattle’s backfield, suddenly it opened the door for a very exciting return of Beast Mode.
It certainly wasn’t vintage Lynch. He did have a few moments that reminded us of the Marshawn of old, but overall he wasn’t used very much and didn’t have too much in the way of impact beyond a few punch in touchdowns. Saying that, he did give us a few more iconic soundbites that he’s become known for giving.
Following the Seahawks loss to the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s divisional clash, Lynch gave another one of his entertaining answers. The man just has a way with words and it has us holding on (and holding back laughter) with every word.
There’s the Marshawn we know and love. While the veteran’s future is up in the air (as has been the case for the past half-decade, seemingly), it’s nice to see him dropping these knowledge bombs for younger guys.
Nobody has quite the pedigree when it comes to retirement and coming out of it like Mr. Lynch. Saying that, we’re still not QUITE sure what he was talking about.
