Steven Stamkos delivered a special message to the Sarnia Sting ahead of their first pre-season game

But what gets you going more than a pre-game speech from one of the NHL’s top stars?

The Sarnia Sting of the OHL were in for a treat ahead of their first preseason game this year! Steven Stamkos decided to drop a surprise message for his former team and wow was it special.

Stammer was drafted first overall by the Sting in the 2006 OHL Draft so the team obviously holds a special place in his heart.
