It's an exciting weekend for basketball fans thanks to the tight playoff races in the NBA, the NCAA Final Four and the announcement of who will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Fans didn't have to wait until the weekend to find out which big names would be inducted in the 2018 class, though, thanks to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Grant Hill, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash have been notified that each will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame's Class of 2018, sources tell ESPN. Formal announcement comes at Final Four weekend.

Maurice Cheeks will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018, league source tells ESPN. He will join Nash, Hill and Kidd as part of starry group.

It's a star-studded Hall of Fame class (if this is truly the class, of course), but there's one name on that list that means a little more to Canadians, Steve Nash.
The Canadian and two-time MVP (back-to-back in 2005/2006) wowed fans with his wizardry with the ball in his hands and his unselfish style of play is what helped cement his legacy and get him to the Hall of Fame.
After the reported news of his inclusion in the 2018 Hall of Fame class came out, the internet congratulated Nash.

Nothing better than what Steve Nash brought to the court. There are some excellent players in the league but the way Nash approached the game was just different. Hasn’t been replaced and is sorely missed. Now has a place in the Hall. What an accomplishment! #nba #stevenash

NEVER forget Steve Nash averaged 30-12-6.5 on 55-42-96 shooting in a playoff series against a Mavs team that had just let him walk, and that series started with Mavs watching him receive MVP award.
— Joseph Casciaro (@JosephCasciaro) March 29, 2018
Between Game 5 & Game 6 clincher, Nash averaged 36.5-12-11 on 54-54-100 shooting
