The Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild are side-by-side in the standings, but that’s no reason to celebrate…together.
They are both in a playoff spot, holding the first and second wild cards in the Western Conferences, so they are actually in a position to dislike each other more than other teams. That didn’t stop the Matthew Dumba from trying to pull Stars defenseman Greg Pateryn into the Wild’s goal celebration. He wasn’t thrilled with that idea.
The Stars have been using a lot of pretty aggressive celebrations lately, so maybe he was actually celebrating with them by pushing them away. That might sound ridiculous, but after watching Tyler Seguin’s latest celly, it is definitely possible.
