It’s been a tough week for baseball fans everywhere, but it’s been an extremely tough week for the Los Angeles Angels and their fans after the sudden passing of 27-year-old pitcher Tyler Skaggs earlier this week.

From a moment of silence to a video tribute, to special No. 45 Skaggs patches, the Angels and teams around the league have found multiple ways to pay tribute to Skaggs over the past few days, and now some fans are starting to do the same.

On Thursday afternoon, Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Ryan Sherriff shared a photo of a beautiful mural that recently went up in Venice Beach, California, in Skaggs’ honour.

The mural sits nearly one mile away from Santa Monica High School, the school Skaggs attended and pitched for before he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2009.
