When someone gets away with what many consider to be a cheap shot or dirty hit, it's easy to be upset at the league and the person that delivered the hit if you were on the receiving end.
It would be perfectly understandable if Justin Schultz of the Penguins, for example, were upset at the NHL for not suspending Dustin Brown for the terrible hit he gave him on Thursday night.
It would also be understandable if Schultz was mad at Brown for delivering the hit that the hockey world pretty much agreed was dirty, but when he was asked about the hit and the fact that Brown got a fine instead of a suspension, Schultz took the high road.
Schultz probably has his own thoughts about the hit and the lack of suspension, but he decided to save some money, not comment on it and move on.
The hockey world, however, made it very clear that they thought Brown should have been suspended.
At the end of the day, we're just happy Schultz is doing well and didn't suffer a serious injury on the play.
