When athletes go undercover in the general public, they usually do pretty well in flying under the radar by not being identified. Jonathan Drouin recently pulled off the feat on unsuspecting Habs fans after being acquired from the Tampa Bay Lightning in the summer, albeit without any makeup or makeover.
Kyrie Irving’s Uncle Drew segments are one of the best versions of this fun excerise. With football players, it can be pretty tough, as their physically imposing bodies can make it much easier to be picked out of a crowd, let alone engaging with the public.
Russel Wilson tried his hand at being incognito by dressing up a campus security guard, but failed miserably.
It probably didn’t help that the mustache Wilson was sporting was falling off his face. If only “Officer Wilson” could get his offensive lineman to protect him like he protected the students at the university.
