Russell Westbrook might play with the biggest chip on his shoulder in the entire NBA, so when he thought he was picked last in the NBA All-Star draft he didn’t seem pleased.
At least, that’s what fans were led to believe after he found out the list was in alphabetical order mid-interview. As he’s being asked about his feelings about his team, Carmelo Anthony yells out “Tell them how you really feel”, implying that Westbrook was upset about where he was picked. Then, when the reporters explain how it was displayed, he is in a much better mood.
Initially, this was the list that Westbrook had seen. It is from the NBA and it orders the teams in alphabetical order (Other than the captains) and highlights the starters with a star beside their name.
The Thunder probably didn’t mind that he thought that going in to the game, because Westbrook playing angry is something nobody wants to try and defend.
We agree with LeBron, this should be televised next season.
