As day two of the 2020 NFL Draft ends, Roger Goodell is running into a very relatable work-from-home problem: He let himself get too comfortable!
Much to the amusement of draft-watchers everywhere, Goodell was getting progressively more and more slumped into that big ole chair of his, looking all but prepared to conk out as soon as the last pick was made.
Even former NFLer Chris Long got in on the jokes! Frankly, though, this is the most relatable Goodell has been in years.
Hey, we get it — the NFL Draft is a uniquely long affair, and that’s not to mention the next four rounds on Saturday. It’s one thing to conduct the event under the bright lights of a stadium, but in the comfort of your own basement, and what appears to be a very comfortable basement at that? Totally different ballgame.
