Sadly on Thursday afternoon, we heard the news legendary comedian Don Rickles had passed away at age of 90. The comedian became well known for his appearance's on Johnny Carson and later David Letterman's late night programing, and was even more known for his great insults and one liners. No one in the room stood a chance if Rickles was at a roast.
The comedian wasn't a hockey player, but would use the term "hockey puck" as an insult, which became a catchphrase of sorts for Rickles.
The phrase became so linked to Rickles and his career, that when he voiced Mr. Potato Head in 'Toy Story,' the character used the insult to a toy hockey puck.
