Even though the NHL Draft was a few months ago, we can’t help but continue to watch that special moment when the late Alex Trebek announced the Ottawa Senators pick.
Luckily for us, we’re able to relive that moment again as we finally are able to see the reaction than the draft pick himself, Tim Stützle.
During the feature, “Tim Stutzle: Draft Night in Germany”, we were given the inside view of what the environment was like around the then-18-year-old as one of the biggest moments of his life unfolded.
The Ottawa Senators were on the clock, it was time for them to pick. So what better way to introduce their newest addition to the squad than a “Jeopardy!” style draft by none other than Trebek.
“Who is, Tim Stützle?”
There it was.
Stützle, dressed to the absolute nines, took off his suit jacket to sport his new team’s jersey and cap.
With family and friends all around, we could just feel how special this moment was for Stützle and everyone involved.
It’s without a doubt that this draft moment goes down in history as one of the best within the league.
