There’s nothing quite as gladiatorial as MMA fighting, and with that comes some pretty brutal moments. While most people (rightfully) fear the thought of a trained fighter landing a haymaker with the little-give UFC gloves, it’s the unpadded areas that can sometimes do the most damage.

That includes but is not limited to the ridiculous torque that comes from the legs, as demonstrated by a Chalawon Po.on Nut in a Muay Thai bout in Bangkok last night.

 

It doesn’t get much more brutal than that, as his opponent literally goes flying backwards, unconscious by the time he hits the deck. The front kick may be a common move in some form of MMA, but as noted by the poster it’s not very common in Muay Thai.
