Rafael Nadal is no stranger when it comes to winning and he did just that on Monday night as he advanced at the US Open with a victory over Marin Cilic.
Nadal has played in front of thousands of spectators over the course of his career and always tends to have all the spotlight on him whenever he’s in action, so it’s safe to say fans of all ages admire the 33-year-old, but there was someone watching in stands who Nadal admit he idolizes and looks up to.
Tiger Woods made the trip out to watch Nadal in action on Monday night and he was not disappointed as he showed the three-time US Open winner his full support throughout the match.
Nadal will go up against Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinals.
