The NFL presented its season awards on Saturday, and Patrick Mahomes took home MVP and OPOY awards — it wasn’t all that close, either, as the final vote count for MVP was 41 for Mahomes and nine for Drew Brees.

Paul Rudd, who presented the MVP award, did so in style. The suit jacket jersey is truly one of life’s finer things.

Big move here, since Rudd needed to take the time to actually have Mahomes and his jersey number printed on to his suit before taking to the stage. We don’t know much time there was between when Rudd was informed of the MVP winner and when he was able to do that, but it’s certainly an extra logistical challenge. The payoff, though? Very cool. Now he can put that suit up on his wall or something, because there’s certainly no wearing that one again.

It’s been quite a year for Mahomes, as he finishes with 50 touchdowns and 5,097 passing yards in his first full season as a starter. Unfortunately, this won’t be his Super Bowl year, after the Patriots knocked out his Chiefs in the AFC Championship, but he’ll have plenty more chances in the years ahead. He already has the Tom Brady seal of approval.
