Paul Pierce admits to being taken off the court in a wheelchair due to a bathroom emergency

If you’re old enough to remember the Boston Celtics’ championship run during the 2007-08 season, you definitely remember Paul Pierce’s wheelchair game.

If you don’t remember it, here’s a quick reminder.
 

Pierce ended up leaving the game but returned shortly after to help lead the Celtics to a Game 1 victory with 22 points. For the past 11 years basketball fans have wondered whether Pierce was actually injured or if he was just trying to add to the dramatics of a Lakers-Celtics NBA Finals, and on Wednesday night the 10-time NBA All-Star revealed what actually happened that night.
 

According to Pierce, he really had to go to the bathroom to the point where he needed a wheelchair to go from Point A to Point B.
