Paul Maurice is known to get prickly with the media at times, but every once in a while, he’ll make a reporters dream and give either a great tidbit of information, or lay the law down with a war of words.
Following the Jets Friday night 5-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues, Maurice went back to his candid ways when asked about the Jets performance.
It wasn’t just the coach that wasn’t pleased with the subpar performance. Blake Wheeler and Tyler Myers both spoke out on the Jets dropping a meaningful four-point game to a division rival.
The Jets will look to get back in the winning column when they welcome the New York Rangers to town on Sunday.
No word on whether McBackup will be dressed or not.
