March Madness is one of those sporting events that is so big, everyone talks about it, even people that don't watch sports.

Between celebrities going to the games and brackets being filled out by just about everyone, there's always something to talk about in regards to the tournament.

Thursday, the Round of 64 kicked off and there were no major upsets (Middle Tennessee topped Minnesota), but as the tournament continues we imagine the upsets will come.

Ahead of the tournament, some of the NHL's best made their predictions for the tournament winning team, and Patrik Laine's reason for picking the Arizona Wildcats to win it all is perfect, as per NHL.com.

"Arizona is going to win. They have the Finnish player (Lauri Markkanen) on their team. I don't know him, but I hear he is pretty good."

Laine knows his stuff.  Markkanen is pretty good to say the least, and in Arizona's first round win against North Dakota, he scored 20 points on 8-12 shooting and added six rebounds.

Laine wasn't the only Finn to pick Arizona, though.

Erik Haula, Minnesota Wild

"I'd like to see Arizona do well. There's actually a Finnish kid (Lauri Markkanen) on Arizona, so I'd like to see them do well. My alma mater (University of Minnesota) are a No. 5 seed, so hopefully they can have a good tournament. They haven't been there in a little bit and they had a good regular season."

Nothing wrong with supporting your country, which is why we imagine many Canadians will be cheering on Oregon.

Not everyone picked Arizona, though.  Here are the teams some other players picked.

Jack Eichel

"I really liked how Duke finished in the ACC. I think that they're real strong. I watched Arizona play a couple times. I think they have a good team. Gonzaga's good. Villanova's good. I think it's probably going to be like a sleeper. I don't know. I'll take Duke, actually. I think they could win it."

Nathan MacKinnon

"Lonzo Ball is a player. I've watched him a little bit this year and I think one player can win it in basketball if they have their best game."
