Despite blowing a four-goal lead against the New York Rangers on Saturday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs and their fans still have plenty to be happy about.

Through two games, the Maple Leafs own a 2-0 record, are averaging 7.5 goals per game and they’re getting production from a lot of different players.

On Sunday, the team took the ice for a routine off-day practice, but they had a new joiner out there with them.

Patrick Marleau’s oldest son, Landon, joined the team on the ice ahead of their practice on Sunday and some of the players, like Nazem Kadri, joked that the youngster’s shot was harder than his.

Marleau's son attends Leafs practice; has harder shot than Kadri?

Aside from getting to practice with the Maple Leafs, 11-year-old Landon got his on stall beside his dad’s and even got to rock his own official practice gear on the ice.

The 38-year-old is off to a good start with his new team as he’s already got two goals and an assist and owns a plus-three rating through the team’s first two games.
