Patrick Beverley continued his pursuit of establishing himself as the NBA’s biggest villain with a villain play on Suns point guard Chris Paul.
With the Clippers down big, and CP3 putting up a DOMINANT performance, Beverley felt the need to give Paul a very aggressive push from behind, sending him to the floor in a hurry. Paul was okay but the whole thing was just a terrible look on the Clippers guard.
Like, sweet Pat Bev, hope you were happy after. The whole thing didn’t seem to bother CP3 all that much, at least that’s what we’re gathering from this embrace he had with head coach Monty Williams.
Let’s remember that this wasn’t the first incident this series between the two players. Remember when THIS happened in Game 5?
Well, Paul won’t have to worry about facing the guy again this playoffs. Four more wins and he’s an NBA champion for the first time in his career!
