Of all the hockey families out there, are there any that even come close to being as precious as the Marleaus?
Yeah, we don’t think so either.
The Marleau family seems to be just the most utterly nice people in the hockey world. Patrick Marleau’s humble dominance in the NHL over the past two decades has made him a fan favourite for hockey fans in general, not just for the teams he’s playing with. He’s the sort of guy that everyone would tear up for if he one day finally got to raise the Stanley Cup.
On Thursday, Christina Marleau posted a video of her and Patrick participating in the “Whisper Challenge.” As you will likely be able to deduce from the video for yourself, it’s trying to guess what your partner is saying without the ability to hear them.
If you told us that you watched the whole video and didn’t crack a smile at least once, we probably wouldn’t believe you. This family (which, by the way, may as well include Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner) is impossible not to love.
