The spotlight was on Kyle Lowry on Tuesday as the Toronto Raptors point guard was named to his fourth consecutive NBA All-Star Game as a reserve for the Eastern Conference.
While it was a big night for Lowry, it was also a pretty eventful evening for Pascal Siakam as well, but in a much different way.
Shortly after the Lowry news went public, the Raptors point guard uploaded a group photo on Instagram and thanked everyone for all their support and help over the past year and even gave his teammate a follow while doing so.
The NBA sophomore had a similar tweet to this one last year after DeMar DeRozan gave him a follow back on IG.
Siakam is currently playing in his second NBA season with the Toronto Raptors and has already shown improvement in his game across the board. In 44 appearances, the soon-to-be 24-year-old is averaging 6.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
